Group purchases of LED screens: solving the batch and availability problem
Planning a next led screen order ? Read this guide first...
If you work with LED screens long enough, you already know the problem.
You buy a smaller or mid-size batch of LED panels. The project goes well. A year later, a bigger job comes in and you need more of the same screen — same batch, same color calibration, same visual behavior.
And suddenly it turns out that:
the manufacturer can’t produces that exact batch,
the color consistency is different,
or the panels simply don’t match well enough to be used together.
At that point, you have only two real options:
buy the full target quantity upfront or
try to collaborate with others.
Both approaches have their risks.
Why sharing LED batches between production companies rarely works
On paper, group buying between production companies sounds like a good idea.
In reality, it often fails at the worst possible moment.
Here’s why:
If two or more production companies own the same LED batch, they usually need it at the same time.
When a large project appears (hundreds of square meters), availability becomes critical.
Even if a partner intends to help, they may suddenly get their own job — and then lending panels is no longer possible.
Nobody wants to block their own business just to support someone else’s deadline.
So while lending screens can work, it’s unreliable when the stakes are high.
A different approach: separating ownership from production
At A-Rental, we approach group purchases differently.
When we organize group LED purchases, A-RENTAL is always part of the structure.
This is the key difference.
Why?
Because A-Rental does not run its own productions.
That means:
the LED stock is not blocked by internal projects,
availability can be guaranteed if reserved in advance,
screens won’t suddenly “disappear” because someone needs them for their own show.
In practice, this creates a stable and predictable model.
How group purchases with A-RENTAL actually work
There are two main scenarios:
A-RENTAL purchases a large batch
and partners join by acquiring or reserving smaller quantities.A-RENTAL purchases the batch together with several partners,
each holding a defined share, but with centralized availability management.
In both cases:
the batch is unified,
color consistency is preserved,
and access can be planned realistically.
If you have a large project coming up, you can reserve the required quantity in advance, knowing that it won’t be taken for an internal production.
Why this matters for large-scale LED projects
Once you cross a certain scale — hundreds of square meters — availability matters more than ownership.
What you really need is:
the right batch,
at the right time,
with guaranteed consistency.
Without a neutral stock holder, this becomes very difficult to secure.
Brands, pricing, and flexibility
This model is brand-agnostic.
Whether we’re talking about:
Absen
Unilumin
Gloshine
Infiled
or other manufacturers — well-known or less known
We can prepare competitive offers thanks to volume purchasing power.
Even if you already have a preferred brand, it’s worth asking.
Very often, better pricing and better batch security are possible simply because we buy larger quantities on a regular basis.
Planning a purchase? Talk to us early
If you’re planning:
a new LED investment,
an expansion of an existing stock,
or a large upcoming project,
and you’re open to joining a group purchase, reach out to us.
Even if the purchase is still a few months away — that’s often the best moment to start the conversation.
In short
Group purchases only make sense if availability is guaranteed.
That’s why we always involve A-RENTAL — to remove production conflicts from the equation.
